Porcigliano is a family-run bed and breakfast offering accommodation in a relaxing, friendly atmosphere.

The origin of the Porcigliano property dates back to the medieval period; in fact, traces of a "Podere" (farm) called Porcigliano have been found in ancient maps of the area.

Our family bought the property in 1999 and the house that originally was built in the early 60's on the ruins of the medieval tower of Porcigliano was completely restored over the course of the nect few years closely following Bio-construction guidelines for a better quality of life.

On the ground floor the large family kitchen opening on the garden has the typical tuscan style with original stones at sight (left the medieval tower), brick floor of terracotta, wooden chestnut beams on the cealing and fireplace.





An iron spiral staircase leads to a comfortable living room on the upper floor, where you will also find delightful guest bedrooms.




In our country style garden sweet smells of lavender, rose, thyme, sage, oregano, rosemary, and many lovely corners for relaxing or picnic







In our kitchen garden we produce organic vegetables, tomatoes, pumpkins, aubergines, bins, green salads for our simple and genuine cooking. Most of the ingredients we use for breakfast come from local organic produce.
